Landscape Journal
I work in conservation and spend much of my time in wild places around the world. This is a personal landscape journal of travel, wildlife encounters, and time spent in nature.
I document landscapes and ecosystems I’ve spent time in, with a focus on conservation, public lands, and how human systems shape the natural world.
My work has been rooted in conservation, environmental education, and public lands leadership, along with a long-standing interest in the systems that influence ecological change at scale.
I follow and support the work of conservation and wildlife protection organizations including Bob Brown Foundation protecting ancient forests in Tasmania, Australia and campaigning to stop native forest logging, Sea Shepherd defending marine life across global oceans by intervening against illegal fishing and whaling, Victoria Falls Wildlife Trust working in the Victoria Falls region of Zimbabwe to rescue, rehabilitate, and monitor wildlife while reducing human–wildlife conflict, and Sierra Club in the United States advocating for climate action, protection of public lands, and a transition to clean energy.
