I work in conservation and spend much of my time in wild places around the world. This is a personal landscape journal of travel, wildlife encounters, and time spent in nature.
Super impressed by the Bob Brown Foundation protecting ancient forests in Tasmania, Australia and campaigning to stop native forest logging, Sea Shepherd defending marine life across global oceans by intervening against illegal fishing and whaling, Victoria Falls Wildlife Trust working in the Victoria Falls region of Zimbabwe to rescue, rehabilitate, and monitor wildlife while reducing human–wildlife conflict, and Sierra Club in the United States advocating for climate action, protection of public lands, and a transition to clean energy.
